The Foundation Collection

The Arthur M. Sackler Foundation Collection consists primarily of Asian art selected by and gifted from Arthur M. Sackler, M.D. and his family.

The collection includes works of art ranging from Chinese ritual bronzes and ceramics to Buddhist stone sculptures and the renowned Chu Silk Manuscript.

Over the past 30 years, the Foundation has curated and traveled exhibitions, lent, and gifted works from its collections. During the past decade, the Foundation has made gifts from its collections to the following institutions:
